Dead Space should be released on 21st oct 2008
HEY THATS TOMORROW WOOT.
Dead Space's mix of sci-fi and survival horror is apparently too much for some countries to take. According to a report on Destructoid this week, the Electronic Arts titled has been banned for sale in three countries so far; Germany China and Japan. There's no specific word on why these three territories decided to ban the game but we can have some educated guesses.
Germany pending ratings though. Anyway, Haha too violent for China, Japan and Germany.
U no kill and have blood and gore! cannot! censor. please be playing less murder game.
Though theres still a lingering thought, will SG ban it too because of the gore? Mass effect had "sex" and they banned it so gore shouldn't be a problem, unless gore makes people horny. Anyway they unbanned Mass Effect a little afterwards.
Singapore thus far has been the only nation to take issue with Mass Effect's content, though the country reportedly banned God of War II for nudity in one of its scenes, and The Darkness, for excessive violence and "religious expletives."
Well, thats our MDA. Now please don't ban Dead Space, theres gore, probably expletives and lots and lots of severing of dead bodies. :D
