PW results
They were released on the 11th April. In case you are yet another blur person, PW stands for project work. Its the best addition to the education system ever since tables and chairs. My ass.
PW has been a piece of shit. Seeing statistics from other JCs, Hwa Chong Institution did the best, 98.5% A. Then comes the major question, how did Innova do?
In fact, Innova refused to comment on the PW results. Why am I not surprised?
We go by the ratings A, B ,C, D. etc The average grade for Innova was shit 2 years ago, it was shitty again last year. Massive Cs and Ds last year, but however for this year it improved, by 0.005%. Isn't it cool? My class is the only class who did exceptionally well for PW, nearly everyone got an A and B. But hey, does that mean I got an A or a B? No fucknuts, my group's grades were C C C B. Chicken ccb.
I got a C for my efforts and I am so pissed, yes we had all the same input factors, we all had the same teacher, we all had the same guidance and help. The person who put in the least effort, usually missing from PW meetings and etc. He got a B.
What about the idiot who re-drafted the redraft of the drafted re-draft of the re-drafted draft? That poor guy called Chandru got himself a C for his efforts. Everyone in the group deserved the B, not just that 1 guy just because he presents better than us.
So, naturally I would bitch about getting shit marks and all but, if it really was due to inability, then I concede defeat BUT I do know that the other majority of Cs and Ds produced bullshit, so what makes my group fall under bullshit?
So what went wrong? I tell you what went wrong. Fook that ONE teacher out of three who were marking and viewing our presentation. Bitch, everyone whom was in the same room and under her did shittly. I looked at our reports and compared them with other groups, other schools and all. Mine definitely deserved an A or a B compared to those wastes of paper and bullshit content.Then what about the other groups' presentations? They were seriously sucky to the core, and no I'm not being sour, I'm just starting the facts.
Tell me what the fuck is Dota doing in a serious report for the A levels? Tell me how the hell did I get a C when the other guy who did that bullshit report also get a C? Seriously WHAT in the world is wrong?
This reminds me of my groupmate who was bitching about the supervising tutor in charge of us last year. I personally think that the ST is great mainly because of his commitment and help, but hey hes just a human, he still does have bad points too.
Quoting from him "He is a BASTARD to start off with.... biased groupings... smart and hardworking people concentrated in certain groups.... I get ... friends ... slackers ... a ALL boys group ... What happened to equal rights for females? Why can a boy be a solo person in a group BUT not a girl?"
So the main gist is that, he hand picked the group full of ownage people based on grades and put them all in the top groups and left 4 slackers to the last group, my group. The worse thing a project group can be handicapped is by not having a girl in the group, and the ST actually told us that he can't put ONE girl into a group of boys. We knew he purposely picked this groupings. -_-
Hey, I personally feel that even though the grouping is biased, it isn't justifying to group all the SMARTS together and SLACKERS together. Yes, we may slack but we are still bright, kinda, even the 2 indians in the group are bright.
Anyway basically I'm rather unhappy with this current lifestyle/grades. I guess I should actually start working towards those goals that I've set for myself, the path to ownage is just waiting for me to step onto it.
Reminds me, I dropped my handphone somewhere when I got off the bus just now. I was so scared some asshole would have picked my phone up then turned it off and sold it and blah blah.
Anyway what happened was that when I got off the bus and wanted to make a call, then only I noticed my phone was not in my pocket. Bloody PE shorts, might as well not even make pockets right, anything that goes in will surely fall out. I got so scared then I quickly ran home with in 3 minutes.
Called my phone, phew! It still could ring. Called my friend who was still on the bus to check if my phone was still lying around on the chair or something. Nope, phone not there.
I called my phone again, then I was like "NOOOOOO" "The number you have just dialled is not available currently....." I tried again for around 10 times, same thing.
Fook! I ran down to the bus stop again with my mother's phone. Searched the bus stop, couldn't find it.
Then I just prayed a simple prayer and asked God for help. " God please help me find my phone" Then I just took out my mother's phone and tried calling my phone for the last time. IT RANG!
Hurrayyyyy, and then a voice picked up. I was going "Yes!! thank you for finding my phone" then the guy said he was at tampines interchange. Yes he was still nearby!
I went over and met up with this Indian NS dude who was around our age(18) returned my phone to me. It was a really cool indian dude!
God really does work in simple yet marvelous ways. :) Thank God
I now swear to treat indian dudes better, for this week. :)
